Colm graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 1982 and was admitted to the role of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 1984.
He has been a partner in the firm since 1994 and graduated as a Solicitor Advocate in 2006.
Colm has extensive expertise in personal injury compensation claims which include road traffic accidents (settlement of £350,000 for injured motorcyclist); accidents at work (£60,000 for a mechanic whose finger was injected with oil); industrial diseases (£15,000 compensation for a client suffering from pleural plaques); tripping and slipping cases (£135,000 for a postman who slipped on ice).
In more recent years Colm has assisted more than 500 clients suffering from noise induced hearing loss and has helped them achieve some of the highest settlements in Northern Ireland.
Colm has helped clients achieve favourable results in a broad spectrum of criminal cases including murder, manslaughter, drug offences, historical sexual abuse offences and misdemeanours.
In the past thirty five years Colm has built up a significant private client portfolio to assist in the purchase and sale of properties and also in the administration of estates.
Colm has also acted for a wide range of sporting and social clubs in Northern Ireland and has advised on a wide range of Club licensing issues.
